Key Account Manager will be responsible to manage an assigned portfolio, they will reach out to existing business and understand the dynamics of the category - Plan selection through deep understanding of Ajio + consumer insights
Responsibilities (To be adapted as per the level) -
Strategy and Planning
- Create and execute relevant sales and marketing strategies most suitable to portfolio.
- Finalizing right mix of suppliers to meet sales demand with periodic review on seller performance and growth and driving vendor relations
- Engage sellers to ensure they drive necessary investments in their business with Ajio for enhancing category growth - Draw Sales, Promotion and Pricing Plans for event and BAU.
- Identify specific strategic partnerships that deliver competitive advantage.
Project Management and Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Continuously assess business performance through data analysis, data interpretation
- End to end ownership of business ensuring good fill rates, in-stock rates, vendor reconciliations, customer escalations and other operational issues.
- Achieve monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
- Manage account level P&L to deliver targeted Gross Margin(GM) requirements.
- Overall Brand management and representation of brand initiatives and revenue management.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction as well as up-sell and cross-sell potential within existing customers to maximize share of wallet.
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs.
Market Research
- Monitor market trends and provide regular competitor feedback
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their requirements.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Define and provide key inputs on improvizing and enhancing existing processes in AJIO Marketplace for Ease of doing business for sellers/Brands
Cross functional collaboration - Collaborate and develop seasonal marketing plans to support key initiatives.
- Continual sales analysis to manage product life cycles, inventory models and rates of sale.
KPIs
- Revenue and GM Achievement as per AOP Plan
- Scaling sellers as per identified category gaps on the platform
- Ensure best in class customer experience through operations rigor at sellers
- Monetization inputs and growth Year on year(YoY)
- Driving catalog parity with competition
- Driving Seller/Brand operational metrics improvement (Order 2 deliver(O2D) <3 days, WFR<0.5%)
- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting of all Seller Metrics and delivering improvement feedback
Education Qualifications - A Bachelor degree in engineering/commerce/NIFT with MBA from Premier B-School
Experience - 6-9 Years
Functional / Behavioral competencies required to execute the role
