Skills & Experience Required
The incumbent is required to have:
- Robust understanding of retail business
- In-depth product knowledge

- Good Negotiation and analytical skills
- 6+ Years of relevant experience
- Driving sales for managed portfolio; understand business opportunities and create a growth plan in co-ordination with cluster teams
- Develop category level growth strategies by driving organizational agendas Actively participating in the planning for all merchandising and promotional campaigns
- Competitive analysis with respect to assortment and pricing to identify cluster-level selection gaps in men's apparel; expected to drive corrective actions
- Developing short term and long term business strategies with the sellers in collaboration cluster heads; required to travel frequently to clusters
- Continuous focus on upcoming trends to build relevant merchandise from potential sellers
- Coordinate with cluster teams and sellers to ensure availability of inventory
- Monitor and improve marketplace operations
- In-depth data analysis to evaluate customer behavior and needs; expected to perform market visits on a regular basis to develop customer insights
- Cross-Functional Capabilities - Should be able to coordinate effectively with marketing, supply chain, catalogue, commercial and other functions
- Coach and mentor new members of the team so they are effective team members and understand their work function and responsibilities
