Assistant Manager - Search Engine Marketing

Roles & responsibilities:

- Assist the Manager/Lead SEM in developing and implementing strategic SEM (Search Engine Marketing) campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions for the ecommerce grocery retail platform.

- Support in managing SEM campaigns across various channels, including keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, and performance analysis.

- Monitor campaign performance metrics and assist in optimizing campaigns to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SEM to contribute insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SEM efforts with overall marketing objectives and strategies.

- Assist in managing advertising budgets and tracking expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.

- Provide regular updates and reports to the Manager/Lead SEM on campaign performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

What you'll need:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; additional certifications in SEM or digital marketing are a plus.

- Prior experience of 5+ years as SEM or digital marketing roles, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.

- Familiarity with SEM platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to assist in making informed decisions and recommendations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in SEM strategies, platforms, and industry trends
