Job Accountabilities - Help primary and secondary research, collation of inputs from diverse sources and their interpretation, on the matters related to global and domestic macro-economic / socio-economic / sectoral / thematic issues for internal and external communication. - Tracking industry thought leaders, research scholars and their research papers for internal knowledge building. - Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a repository of all relevant data / facts / content from across RIL, business units, and initiatives, including geography / leadership-specific content, and adapting them to necessary formats - Responsible for extracting news and information from across RIL, helping shape them into compelling narratives, and formatting them as per media platform and audience for timely dissemination - Research, analysis, collation, idea generation, report writing, as well as other assignments entrusted by the Communications Lead - Help develop consistent company literature, thought leadership materials and other forms of communication - Prepare and coordinate speeches, briefing notes, talking points, and presentations for internal clients Skills Required (Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude) - Deep understanding and conceptual clarity of macro-economic, socio-economic, capital markets and other contemporary domestic / global issues - Ability to read, learn, collate and interpret data or inputs from different sources on sectoral, macro / socio economic or other contemporary issues. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - Strong attention to detail, numerical / factual accuracy, and familiarity with business writing standards - Ability to meet strict and tight deadlines - Ability to easily relate with people; positive attitude, strong listening skills, friendly demeanor, an open mind for ideas - Adept at working with multiple stakeholders in complex environments - Self-motivated and conscientious Preferred Skills - Substantial knowledge of domestic and global Macro-Economics, socio-economics and Finance - Background in finance or economics research, writing papers or reports, making presentations Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications) - Post-graduate, preferably in Finance or Economics, with 8-10 years of research experience - Strong English writing skills with an excellent vocabulary, grammar, attention to detail, and editing and proof-reading skills
