Senior Product Manager / Transit Payments Lead the development of a contactless payments product platform for Transit that will be a force multiplier for JioMoney and Jio Financial Services- transaction engine. Responsibilities : - Lead the development of components of the - Tap & Pay- system for Bus, Metros, Railways, Toll & Parking - Build the interface and integration between the wallet backend and the AFC systems of transit operators, with a view to enable consistency and stability, while allowing for customizations to specific Transit operator requirements. - Enabling the best - User- & - Operator- experience, with a focus on usability and a low learning curve. - Collaborate with UI designers to understand and incorporate visual design, & interaction modelling into functional specifications - Evaluate AFC solutions for partnership for upcoming bids - Partner with the Device Engineering teams, Wallet backend development teams, Operations & Customer service and the Program Management team for a seamless product offering to the market. - Identify and solve for Process, Technology & Architecture changes required for a best in class - platform- build. - Collaborate with Program Management to ensure consistent agile practices and reporting Requirements : - 8 - 10 years of product experience working on payments platform products. - Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development with a working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. SQL, APIs, Web Services, Cloud Computing - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Curiosity and knowledge of technical and product innovation and trends - Efficient communicator that motivates and drives cross-functional leadership - Comfortable with fast evolving technologies like NoSQL databases, Android, iOS and Open Source Java frameworks - Collaborative, service-oriented attitude of - user first- - Engineering degree (Graduate / Post Graduate).
