Key requirements

The candidate should have ideally engineered, designed and commissioned secured datacentre and network architecture and/or SDLC (software development life cycle. He/she should have implemented network protocols and topology including network security solutions like firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS for large enterprise.

Other requirements include:

- Management of SOC of a large enterprise or MSS centre serving multiple clients

- Management reporting of overall security posture of the organization

- Knowledge of all emerging threats, vulnerability to IT systems

- Broad knowledge of IT ACT 2008, DoT and Telecom Regulatory Compliance (TRAI)

- Exposure to real time security intelligence and/or Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework in a large organization

- Implementing Baseline security assessment and security vulnerability assessments for all IT assets in a continuous way

- Knowledge of common criteria testing for telecom equipment

- Devising the MBSS for all devices (End point and telecom devices) as per international standard and regulatory requirement

- Expertise on Windows, virtualization technologies like Vmware, Microsoft, Hyper-V, etc. and other *NIX based operating systems (Unix, Linux, etc.)

- Knowledge in cloud data privacy, compliance and security policies

- Review of risks in the cloud infrastructure

- Lead security and privacy compliance initiatives at an enterprise level

- Develop enterprise wide information security policies, processes and procedures

- Exposure to PII protection in a telecom/payment environment

- Profound knowledge on threats and vulnerabilities related to systems, databases and network devices

Educational Qualifications - BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA/MS from a reputed institute

10+ years of experience

Certification - At least one of the following: CISSP/CISM/CISA/CIPP

ISO 27001 (Preferred)

Exposure

- Exposure to carrier grade telecom network security infrastructure / datacenter management/ SOC management is desirable

- Candidate should have managed teams of specialists/ experts in IT security
