Role is to do mid to long term overall planning, preparing merchandise/operating plans, coordinate strategic initiatives and take care of new tool/process development for a complete business group Job Requirements: - Looking at mid to long term planning and buying directions/strategies - Preparing merchandise plans and OTB plans aligned with AOP - Conducting regular category performance reviews - Responsible for key planning metrics like- Stock cover, GM%, Discounting, Ageing, Sellthru, Full price sellthru - Take ownership to drive automation and proactive alerts/mechanism within respective functions - Working with cross functional teams (product, finance, scm, marketing) to drive bigger strategic projects and initiatives - Coordinate various project activities with different departments, follow-up on agreed upon milestones and maintain tracker for critical projects with weekly updates - Conduct analysis for assigned business problem by collecting data from all internal and external sources and perform analysis to get answers to business questions. - Help in putting together business proposal based on trends etc. - Put together excel models for business scenario analysis - Conduct Market research for an assigned topic to dig out relevant data and analytics Skills Required: - Strong communication and project management skills - Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in MS-Office is must. - Knowledge of BI tools/statistics added advantage - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment Education and Experience Required: - Master's in Business Administration- Preferably IIMs/ISB or other Tier 1 colleges - 2-3 yrs experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance or related functional areas - Previous experience in retail & e-commerce added advantage - Previous experience in managing private label/brand planning will be added advantage Why work with us: - We provide accelerated growth opportunities, we foster openness, trust and respect in the workplace. - We're a fun-filled place to work; we're passionate about sport and music, debate and design and about getting things right. - We are growing rapidly and our growth philosophy is to hire and retain the best. - We offer all employees a culture of fun and learning, and a very competitive package of pay and benefits.
