Investment Analyst - JioGenNext Job Accountabilities: - Do secondary research using platforms like VCCEdge, Tracxn, Trade journals and other online sources. - Should be able to speak to Founding Teams, Investment Banks, Angel investors, Venture Capital firms and Private Equity firms for securing information and doing deal analysis. - Should have appreciation for startups/entrepreneurs from seed to private equity stage. - Able to collate, analyse and synthesise information such as technology architecture, business model, traction, customer use-cases, financial statements, balance sheet, cashflows, P&amp;L, ratios. - Produce / evaluate financial models - DCF and other methodologies. - Should be able to negotiate and structure investment / partnership deals. - Prepare business plans, information memorandums, pitch decks on emerging market opportunities in strategic areas of interest to Reliance Jio in including Fintech, Digital Commerce and Retail sectors. - Should be able to coach entrepreneurs who participate in cohorts and other mentoring sessions in JioGenNext on how to build and present their business plans to management. - Should be able to work with multiple-team members from technology, program management, investment, corporate development and business units in order to take inputs and prepare information memorandums. - Should be soft-spoken and articulate. - Should conduct with humility and be open to continuous learning and improvement. - Should have a solid understanding of the Indian business environment. - Should be comfortable working out of Reliance Corporate Park campus, Navi Mumbai. Skill &amp; Competencies: - Ability to work with Business teams to understand their problems and capability gaps and translate the same into technology solutions &amp; a product road-map, given the knowledge and understanding of the latest technology innovations and technology solution deployment frameworks. - You will be responsible for identifying, researching, evaluating and presenting investment opportunities. Your work will have significant impact in executing strategic investments and partnerships to bring the right kind of talent and technology into the group. It is preferred that you should have relevant experience in analyzing technologies, business models and financials of startups / medium to large-scale businesses in the Digital Commerce and Retail sectors. Education Required: B.Tech (Comp. Science) AND MBA (Top Management Institutions of India/Abroad)
