Responsibilities: - Conduct analysis of business and user needs to develop application projects for specified business units - Gathering & documenting business / functional requirements for the implementation or revision of systems or applications using various requirements modelling and UML tools - Utilize expertise in health insurance and understanding of the organization's systems and capabilities to ensure the most efficient use of resources - Understand business processes of organization, how team is envisioning the new processes, business results expected etc. and suggest processes that can be implemented using defined technology - Create questionnaires, deep dive documents to probe into needs of specific projects, collect such responses through documents, interviews etc. - Documentation of case analysis, functional test cases, and Change Requests and other requirements in formats like BRD, SRS, FRS, etc. - Testing while working in conjunction with the business users and development teams, responsible for the creation and execution of application test scripts, scenarios, and test plans that validate initial business - Liaison between business and technical team felicitating proper communication matrix among stakeholders Competencies: - Functional & Business Acumen - Accountability & Ownership - Relationship & Networking - Analytical Skills - Managing Teams - Customer Focus Skills: - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - Sound knowledge of various technologies and business solution which would be applicable to our business - Ability to translate business requirement to technology solution - Ability to manage Team, vendor and internal stakeholders Qualifications & Experience: - Engineer and /or MBA / PGDM - 10+ years of work experience in business analyst preferably in insurance sector
