Relationship Manager - Trade Finance - Bank

Job Type: Permanent-Full Time

Job Location: Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

- Provide adequate and efficient transactions in Guarantees - issuing, amendment, cancellation, lodgment of claims, payment within the limit as per the credit policy

- Process outgoing remittances

- Handle Swifts/Telexes of transactions relating to Bank guarantees

- Input transactions for advising, confirmation, amendment and cancellation of Import & Export Letters of Credit on a timely basis

- Customer Acquisition for LC discounting

- Preparation of periodic reports of opened and outstanding Import and Export letters of credit and monitoring of workflow

- Settle value of documents, sight, in same value dates ensuring full funding coverage with FX, Treasury and Credit Department to avoid loss due to delay of payment interest

- Ability to maintain relationships with existing customers and others to get more business

- Zeal to be able to generate revenue from the Trade Finance products

- Always enthusiastic for business promotion activities and customer meetings and have a present database for LC discounting

- Should have handled LCBD Sales

Requirement:

- Must be from Trade Finance operations background with 4 to 7 years of handling transactions

- Must be familiar with Trade Finance products i.e LC discounting, FX transactions

- Experience and knowledge in accounting work and in handling trade documentary credit works

- Banking background with experience in banking documentation and procedures involving import/export/LC collection bills and bank's guarantees

- Should have knowledge of RBI guidelines

- Should have worked as a team player in a reputed bank

- Must be able to handle the compliance and audit queries

- Should have knowledge of RBI reporting's

- Should have skills to make the process better and easy as and when it's required as per market condition

- Should have the zeal to do business promotion

- Ready for travel as per the business requirement

- Solid knowledge of Indian laws for processing trade products for the Indian Markets.
