Role :

Role Accountability : Measurement Competencies :

Relationship Manager - Ownership of business development as per agreed plans

- Coverage of clients with revenues in excess of Rs.1,500 Crs

- Initiate, manage & deepen client engagement

- Ensure delivery of banking solutions in collaboration with other parts of the bank

- Maintain / enhance credit quality in the portfolio managed

- Mentoring of assistant relationship managers and analysts.

- Franchise & brand building activities

- Growth in revenues

- Build-up of assets, contingents, and liabilities

- Expansion of client base

- Cross sell results Knowledge

- Client business including working capital cycle and growth requirements

- Risk (credit / investment, operational, others) identification, mitigation and management

- Deal structuring

- Banking products and procedures

- Documentation.

Skills :

- Track record of:

a) business development and identification of potential clients

b) significant achievements

- Existing relationships with bankable clients

- Credit writing skills with comprehensive coverage of all risk related issues

- Excellent communication skills - verbal, and written (including report writing, presentations, etc).

Attitude :

- Problem solving and resolving conflicts;

- Keenness to learn and detail oriented;

- Team player but also capable of taking individual decisions.

Experience :

- 5-8 years in a similar role in investment / corporate banking with top organizations.

Education :

- Rank holder CA

or

- MBA from reputed institutes (IIMs, FMS, IIFT, XLRI, JBIMS, NMIMS, SPJ, MDI, etc)

Additional Points :

- Typically the RM is expected have excellent relationships at the CFO/CXO levels .

- Offer customized financing solutions to customers. In depth knowledge of regulatory provisos

- Ability to think on his feet

- Cross sell - product knowledge ( FX/Cash mgmt./trade/salary etc)

Experience : 8+ years
