The role holder is responsible for managing relationships and creating new business opportunities from Banks and Domestic Financial Institutions including mutual funds and insurance companies. She / he will be responsible for front-ending all business dealings with Banks and DFIs with targets on liabilities and income generation.
- Sustained revenues generation and achievement of the targets set out in the budget for the year for IFI business. Reaching Balance Sheet / Revenue / Acquisition targets to expand share of wallet of the clients through:
- Meet liability targets through CASA, Bulk deposits, FCY and INR Term Loans, money market borrowings, primary CD issuances and Refinance.
- Meet revenue targets through NII and other income (Fee/DCM/FX/Trade).
- Work towards portfolio deepening through other products.
- Responsible for cross selling and up selling the liability products wherever applicable through CMS, Salary A/c, Trust A/c. to contribute towards CASA of the bank.
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are monitored and achieved during the course of the year
- Understands the competencies relevant to his/her role, and works towards displaying as well as developing these effectively
- Keeps abreast of relevant professional/industry developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional networks
- Follows risk policy and processes to mitigate the operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks as instructed by the departmental manager
- Executes the established internal control systems and compiles relevant information for departmental audits, as necessary
