Roles and Responsibilities - Relationship Manager Commercial Banking
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial banking clients by understanding their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Financial Advisory: Providing personalized financial advice and solutions to clients, including lending products, deposit services, treasury management, and other financial offerings.
- Credit Analysis: Assessing the creditworthiness of clients by analyzing financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant information to determine lending risk and structuring appropriate credit facilities.
- Business Development: Actively prospecting and acquiring new commercial banking clients through networking, referrals, and targeted marketing efforts to grow the bank's commercial portfolio.
- Portfolio Management: Managing a portfolio of commercial banking clients by monitoring their financial performance, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and proactively addressing any issues or concerns.
- Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while effectively managing credit, operational, and other risks associated with commercial banking activities.
- Collaboration: Working closely with internal stakeholders such as credit analysts, underwriters, product specialists, and relationship support teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions and exceptional client service.
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Negotiating terms and conditions of loan agreements, pricing, and collateral arrangements with clients to meet their financing needs while optimizing the bank's risk-adjusted returns.
- Market Intelligence: Staying informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape
