- Generate sponsorship money for the program
- Build a database of potential sponsors from scratch. Do research on the database to figure out what are the high potentials and figure out leads in them.
- Design sponsorship packages
- Socialize sponsorship packages with internal team, internal and external stakeholders
- Sell sponsorship packages to the potential leads, - Do lead calling, get connections to leads to make them more productive
- Make individual presentations and meetings to sponsors to convince them of the program.
- Travel to respective locations to meet with potential sponsors.
- Follow up on operations and marketing people within the program team to make sure the commitments to the sponsors are met.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience :
- Graduate necessary, Masters desirable, not necessary
- 10-15 years work experience
- Has done fund-raising for a non-profit or industry association.
- Has connections in private industry and/or Government/PSUs
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Can write proposals, design presentations, make presentations and conduct meetings
- Can follow up on leads, stay organized
- Knows word and PowerPoint
- Likes interacting with new people, maintaining relationships, and forming new relationships.
Note : This is a 9 to 12 month, free-lance/consultant full time position, based in the office. Renewal based on performance.
