Responsibilities-

COREP & Capital Reporting :

- Preparation of daily Capital Monitoring reports concentrated on Counterparty Credit Risk & Market Risk.

- Support production of COREP templates related to Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk.

- Provide commentary/advise business on the reporting of capital, RWA and related matters.

- Ensure compliance with Regulatory Requirements under Basel III/CRD IV including reporting of own funds, credit risk, market risk, operational risk and leverage ratio.

- Timely response of external & internal queries.

- Preparation and posting adjustments in AXIOM and GRIFFIN.

- Ensure adherence to Process & Governance routines.

FINREP/ AnaCredit / Statistical Reporting

- Responsible for delivering monthly and quarterly templates for our Irish banking entity

- Preparation and posting adjustments in AXIOM and GRIFFIN

- Preparation of reconciliations Trial Balances vs Axiom

- Preparation of reconciliation ledger vs sub-ledger

- Preparation of variance analysis and commentary -

- Work on regulatory changes viz. Taxonomy changes, additional requirements.

- Responding to various stakeholders both external and internal on queries raised by them.

- Ensure adherence to Process & Governance routines.

Requirements:

Education:

Chartered Accountant, CPA

FRM or any other Certifications

IFRS Diploma

Experience Range: 2 to 10 years

Foundational skills:

- Regulatory reporting experience in a financial services business specially focussed on European Regulatory Reporting

- Knowledge of IFRS

- Prior experience of AXIOM platform (not mandate)

- Detail-focused and structured approach to defining, executing and evidencing deliverables

- Problem solving; curiosity; ability to think laterally and identify several possible solutions to problems

- Dynamic, high energy, solid work ethic, willing to take on new initiatives some of which may initially lack definition

- Ability to think laterally and identify several possible solutions to problems

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as the position requires global correspondence and communication with associates throughout the footprint.

- Remaining positive in the face of challenge

- Able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

- Demonstrate ability to work in a team, while contributing individually and across other teams

- Flexibility and good negotiations skills

- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and MS Access
