Regulatory Reporting - Risk Reporting - NBFC

The leadership of this NBFC and the regulators are the audience for the deliverables therefore a candidate with Risk Consultancy background with a reputed firm is preferred. Data accuracy and TAT are given; candidate should have good business acumen and application of mind for adhoc requirements in the credit risk area.

- Should be able to work under pressure and deliver within tight timelines. It would be mandatory to have extremely good knowledge in finance and risk, ability to analyse/understand P&L and B/s, understanding of portfolio analytics terminology (LGD, EAD etc).

- Should possess good interpersonal and communication/written skills.

- Database management skills are mandatory which would include integration of risk data into a new database.

- Preferred to have hands on experience in building a database which would be a value add for this role.

Sound knowledge of data consolidation logic, customer matching and UAT testing for all work streams would be a key requirement.

- Design checks to ensure that accurate Risk data flows into the business data warehouse and hence error-free risk reporting to the authorities.

- Initiate data audit assignments internally to identify issues and provide solutions to process owner and businesses to correct them

- Co-ordinate with different businesses across NBFC. Guide and help the businesses provide accurate risk data

- Delivery of fixed and adhoc monthly/quarterly deliverables in the area of portfolio risk management with 100% accuracy and within short TAT.

- Should be able to think and create new metrics to report portfolio risk, arrive at logical conclusions while analyzing the risk data, should be able to drive productivity.

- Understand a company's financial statements and determine the risk attributes of various financial/other assets

- Understand the functioning of various accounts in ledger and how they appear on Balance Sheet & P&L account

- Determine and analyze the impact of happenings around the world on a global portfolio

- Work with huge datasets and hence be comfortable working with Excel, Access and SQL.

- Visualize and prepare analyses given certain inputs
