Regional Training Manager

Position; Regional Training Manager

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Business Partnering

- Understand and align to talent transformation department priorities and goals

- Identify training needs by consulting with Territory Operations team

- Tailor the learning and provide solutions/ approaches / methodologies to suit regional team and retail stores perspectives and requirements

- Research and bring L&D best practices and trends into the discussions to suggest and recommend solutions

- Play the role of a sounding board for the business

- Partner with regional and store HR teams for culture building, employee engagement and -retention

- Planning and Strategy

- Support Head of TT in strategizing, creating and driving retail learning agendas in the region

- Manage the regional training budgets

Training Operations Management:

- Drive regional training initiatives that meet development needs of employees and improves business performance

- Publish and manage regional training calendar

- Manage resources, including working with both internal employees/stakeholders and training vendors to design, create and deliver training

- Review, publish and present training analysis through agreed MIS formats

- Conduct periodic training process audits

- Support corporate TT team with learning design, delivery and initiatives

Learning Design & Delivery:

- Design, develop and review training content for identified topics

- Design and implement retail learning programs (functional/domain/behavioral) for the region

- Recommend and use appropriate learning technologies (E-learning, LMS, Simulations, Gamification, AI, ML etc.)

- Familiar with non-conventional/innovative learning avenues (theatre, music, community learning platforms etc.)

- Create and maintain participant workbook, facilitator guides, power point presentations and other learning artefacts as needed

- Facilitate learning workshops on assigned topics as a subject matter expert

- Ensure course effectiveness, analyze and take corrective actions

- Conduct Train the trainer programs for intra and inter teams as required

- Use innovative techniques to sustain learning beyond the classroom People Management

- Manage trainers to deliver retail training agenda for the region

- Assign responsibilities and set expectations

- Give regular feedback to team

- Provide support and guide the team to deliver on the job
