Job Description - An experience in working with a market leader

- The goal is to increase sales, visibility and category performance by planning, designing and managing trade schemes

Client Details :

- Our Client is leading manufacturer of consumer products, having been in the market for over 20 years

- The focus is currently on expanding and developing a wide distribution channel. Having this objective in mind they are looking to hire a Regional Trade Marketing Manager for their Chennai region

Description :

Some of the job responsibilities will include :

- The overall business plan by designing and planning strategies for the growth of the category / channel

- Analyse the past sales data to understand the past programs/ activations/ schemes and suggest improvements to the category/ channel

- Analyse the competitor movements and promote according to the current trends

- Brainstorm and design promotional gifts/ offers, POP material, schemes/ trade communication tools for the promotion activities

- Determine and understand the placement of products channel wise

- Continuously track and monitor the effective utilisation of visibility tools and POP materials and monitor the execution of activations and programs

Profile :

A successful candidate comes with:

- 8+ years of experience in consumer sales and marketing with experience in managing and designing trade spends, calendars etc

- Prior experience in top tier FMCG/ FMCD firms is mandatory

- Having strong leadership skills - ability to work with cross functional teams and an eye for detail

- Ability to develop strategies and measurable implications with strong analytical skills

- MBA from a reputed institute is preferable
