Regional Supply Controller


Objective:

This role is primarily for the deployment of products into warehouses in the respective region to meet high and agile service level. Accountable for understanding all sources of demand, analyzes demand trends, orders from key customers and plans for replenishments ensuring optimized inventory levels. Play vital role and being accountable for ensuring OTIF is 100% with close effective co-ordination with Sales, Supply chain Planners, customer service & Logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

- The position connects with respective sales organization on daily basis to keep a track of fulfillment at TOP 10 customers in the region for each segment. (OT, fuel additive, plastics, process chemicals, PVF, 3,5 xylenol)

- The position brings to the attention of SCM head & Logistics head any delays for the key accounts and ensures that the customer receives material ONTIME. In other words, these top 10 customers' OTIF must be 100%.

- Position is supposed to track every order and planning of these products and is single point of contact for the respective regional team.

- Position is thoroughly aware of global logistics, planning, production and procurement workflows.

- Incumbent is analytically sound. Hence in their OPQ analytical skills and Customer orientation has to be a very high strength. (level 4/5 on a 5-point scale)

- Upon receipt of every order the position goes through all the requisite steps and ensures that OTIF is 100%.

- The position also owns up the replenishment planning in case the top customers are served from regional warehouse.

- In collaboration with the Supply Chain Planner, manage rules for abnormal demand and customer requirements that are outside the capability of the supply chain to deliver.

- Participates in root cause analysis for OTIF Miss and drives continuous improvement.

- Conceptualizes MIS for ideation of issue and takes ownership to resolve the same.
