General Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Vice President role will be focused on developing sales strategies, building a high performance team of Sales Directors, executing sales plans, creating customer interest, working with channel partners where appropriate. This role will focus on Carrier market portfolio and will be responsible for closing new business and renewal business.
Major Duties and Function:
- Senior sales leader responsible for driving sales in designated Region to include exceeding sales goals.
- Develop and maintain senior key client relationships.
- Hire, develop and support a team of high performance sales people.
- Drive the development, management and execution of Strategic Account/Territory plans of the regional sales team.
- Improve and drive product and services specific strategies and sales cycles.
- Follow corporate deal approval process.
- Be present and engaged with customers with your team in Region.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- 15+ years- experience with the demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly sales quotas.
- Provable success selling to carriers.
- Strong understanding of the addressable market and their business models.
- 15+ years- experience in a technology sales environment (software products and technology services)
- Strong data analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills (Excel, CRM Reporting Tools).
- Experience with reseller and partner sales channels, as well as direct sales.
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
- Results driven, team player with strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
