Profile of the job holder
- 12-15 years of experience with atleast 10 years in managing Distribution network and sales through distribution / dealers / stockiest channel.
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Post-graduation in Marketing management will be an added advantage.
- Strong business acumen
- Good influencing skills
Key responsibilities :
- Craft and deliver the strategy for profitable growth in the region
- Formulate and communicate Distributor growth strategy
- Drive Distributor Performance . Set targets for Distributors and jointly work with them to achieve the targets
- Grow SKF Business in all platforms in the region
- Map business potential & growth opportunities for business . Ensure customer & product Mapping, Market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Develop business with emerging segments
- Establish strong customer relationship in the market
- Champion value selling and engage in business & contract negotiations with customers
- Coordinate development for new offerings to customer and application engineering requirements with a project management approach
- Deploy sales & marketing plan at a team level with clear targets & monitoring system . Ensure a strong opportunity management process
- Develop strong knowledgeable resource team to grow SKF Business.
- Ensure management of right cost levels for improving Business performance.
- Responsible for the cash flow and outstanding payments collection from Distributors and the customers
- Undertake annual and monthly sales forecasting for facilitating capacity booking
- Implement and maintain quality systems and review the same periodically
- Coach frontline sales force to drive action plans derived from business strategies
