Formal Job Description: Regional Sales Manager - India Sales Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Reports To: Sr. Director - India Sales Employee Type: Outside Sales / Mobile Compensation Rate: Salary + Commission Travel: Extensive travel throughout sales territory Location: Bangalore (South Region, West Region) - Client is world leader in microinverter technology and wants to deliver technology solutions that make clean energy affordable, reliable, and accessible to all. - This position will be based in Bangalore, Pune/ Mumbai, India. - The Regional Sales Manager responsibility include driving revenue and share growth in a defined set of partner/installer accounts, regions and recruits/enables new partners/installers. - He/She educates partners on the company's technology and business propositions, enabling them to sell our solutions to achieve mutually beneficial revenue and profit goals. Inside Enphase, the Regional Sales Manager works closely with Sales Management, Field Applications, Marketing, Customer Service, operations and finance to ensure a best in class customer experience. - The Regional Sales Manager will execute all regional programs, promotional initiatives and other key aspects of account management, forecasting, order management, partner training, collecting market intelligence. - Enphase's sales model engages installers, integrators, module manufacturers & leading OEM partners in both residential and commercial markets to bring its microinverter systems to global markets. - Build and manage a successful installer network to achieve sales targets for the region - Build and manage a strong sales funnel, systematically capturing opportunities at each stage (lead to revenue) and driving conversions - Manage revenue, forecast at individual account level with specific actions (marketing programs, promotions etc) to grow each of them - Contribute to strategic business plans for the region, incorporating TAM/SAM/SOM - Manage together with the Sales Team the day-to-day communications with the assigned distributor and installer accounts, be a team player, Drive distributor and customer issue resolutions - Ability to get customer demographics and behavior insights and drive a feedback loop into marketing to improve the quality of inbound lead generation - Work closely with digital marketing team to define new areas and content topics for lead generation - Regular reviews of business status with key customers addressing account share / market development and manage the improvement of operational key performance indicators together with the customer. - Solicit feedback for product improvements - Continuously scan market landscape to capture information regarding opportunities and threats - Maintain accurate records of customer communication in CRM Sales Force; Track metrics to evaluate distributor/installer performance. Desired Qualifications: - Bachelors/master's degree in Engineering or business management - 5+ years sales of experience in Solar Industry - Solar products and services sales management experience with a strong related network connection - Experience with digital campaigns, lead generation and management etc- preferred - Passionate to about selling with value and growing profits - Flexible, with a - can-do- attitude and the ability to work in a dynamic fluid environment, willing to roll up his own sleeves. - Working knowledge of sales pipelines tools like salesforce, and digital lead generation - Interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; team player - Ability to work independently and be self-motivated - Ability to prioritize time well to deliver consistently against stated objectives - Continuously learning and raising the bar for him/herself and his/her team, outperforming the targets set. - Travel in the region - more than 50% of the times - will be required
