SALES MANAGEMENT :
- Preparation of annual sales budgets at regional level
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding set targets and maintain quarterly sales
- Prepare realistic sales forecast
- Understand and implement organization's strategy
- Making sales calls and providing technical support to architects, specifiers, consultants, builders, Govt. Departments & agencies, roofing and facade contractors, etc.
- Creating quotations (includes specification building and BOQ preparation with support from technical support team) and following through with the sales process for your client base
- Identifying new opportunities and maintaining existing customers in the Building and Construction sector
- Monitoring the progress of current projects tendered out to ensure company remains in contention and identify opportunities to substitute competitor specifications
- Maintain healthy project pipeline in your region
- Maintain an excellent level of technical knowledge regarding all company products and systems
- Manage relationships with the accounts in your region
- Provide support on projects from other regions of Company.
- Timely outstanding payment follow up and collection
- Ensure technical support for project execution for smooth and quality installation and be accountable for qualitative aspects of Projects of your region
- Ensure all sales related activity is recorded in Salesforce on a daily basis
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT :
- Focus on top architects identified (Existing accounts and New accounts) in your region for relationship building
- Mapping and coverage of key people from these identified accounts and identify projects for specifications
- Create strong specifications through top architects identified in your region
- Propose and upgrade specifications to system based products from Company Systems family
- Introduce and propose new systems and applications to existing and new architects for specification and conversion
- Adding new accounts through conversion of projects
- Identify new high business potential cities in your region and focus on the coverage of projects and accounts from those cities
MIS :
- Weekly basis: Discussion on projects and other open points
- Monthly basis: Monthly report as defined with highlights of the month, 3 months sales plan, material forecast, top project updates, updates on projects under execution, project pictures, etc.
- Reports to be sent to immediate supervisor i.e. Country Manager
- Daily updates in salesforce regarding daily activities, leads, accounts, projects and contacts.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS :
- Interact and coordinate with functional colleagues (Accounts, Technical, Business Development) on regular basis for synergizing the business of your defined region
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSETS REQUIREMENT :
- Graduate (Engineering preferred) with MBA Marketing (8-10 yrs)
- Experience of working in Sales Organization
- Good working knowledge of MS Office & Outlook
- Self-motivated and good team player
- Flexible with can do attitude and open to accept change
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets consistently
- Problem solving ability
- Networking skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Knowledge and experience of working on CRM
- Ownership of responsibility handled
