Regional Manager :

Job Purpose : To attain the sales targets for the brand and product / product categories by setting up and managing a strong dealer network for the assigned geography.

Context and major Challenges :

- Ensuring that sales drive quick scaling up of the Paints business by building a strong dealer network.

- Building synergies with the dealer network, despite the presence of strong and well set competitors in the market.

KRAs :

- Volume and Value Target : Plan and drive initiatives to establish focused products in market and maintain sustainable sale potential for focused products (in addition to regular range of products)

- Network Expansion : Study the market for new dealers, analyze their potential and onboard and drive business from this network

- Generate Demand : Explore business opportunities with different stakeholders for regular & focused products and design strategies and initiatives to generate demand

- Cross-Functional Integration : Integrate with other verticals and extend support in driving initiatives for launching and establishing of products in the market

- Trade Schemes : Input for scheme design to head trade sales team. Implement and track performance of schemes for trade partners.

- On-ground Promotions : Providing assistance to the trade sales head team as well as loyalty team (Services) in driving the loyalty program on the ground. Encourage participation of all stakeholders (dealer, contractors, painters etc..) to drive effectiveness. Grow the number of participants and work on means to retain them (keeping them engaged).

- Market Analysis : Conduct regular market research and keep track of key competition product, pricing and activities

- Team Management : Productive utilization of manpower resources to drive business growth. Work on growth and development of the reporting team by providing them with required inputs, direction and opportunities

Education :

- PGDBM/MBA (Premier Institute) with 7+yrs of experience.

Experience required :

- Person must have served sales role with top notch Paint Company as well as in entrepreneurial environment.

- He must have played a important role in building & growing the business to the next level.
