Job Description: This is a leadership role responsible for heading the sales function for entire Region. The candidate must play a strong role of catalyst and build a team of ASMs, SOs, ISRs and DBSMs to achieve the sales targets and growth objectives for OTC Business. The individual must be highly motivated with an entrepreneurial drive to excel and accustomed to working in a highly competitive environment and exposed to both medical and consumer business. The business being at a nascent and evolving stage, the individual would be instrumental in assisting the Sales Head, Marketing Head and Business Head in setting performance /hygiene standards and benchmarks. The leader must drive a healthy work culture and balance the same with strong analytical plus insight led working style within the Region which should be highly collaborative. Understanding of ways of working of Ethical Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage. Roles and responsibilities: - Plan and execute GTM strategy to drive sales growth in the Region - Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets and ensure field team is meeting incentives in line with business KPIs - Work on monthly and quarterly volume and value forecast accurately for all existing and new products to ensure CFA and Distributor SOH and Fill rates are maintained as per norms - Execute Best in class sales execution (100% achievement of Sales coverage norms and Trade SFE KPIs like Bills Cut, ECO, TLS, MSL, etc.) and In Store Excellence (Merchandising and Display) - Manage, develop, coach and train sales force to ensure that highest level of professional standards are met - Preparing local BTL plan and reviewing with Trade Head and Marketing team - Growing Business at Existing Retail Stores, building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities - Ability to identify new FMCG/OTC distributors and build relations objectively to scale up business (plan and execute Investment, Infrastructure, Market credit and Claims) - Collecting Customer/Consumer Feedback and giving timely update to Senior Management; resolving complex and escalated consumer complaints - Provide timely feedback to the sales personnel regarding their sales performance; develop strong performance management plan for the sales team. Ability to develop a strong analytical framework via MIS to chase business objectives. Qualification: - Graduate/Post-Graduate in any stream - MBA with specialization in Marketing preferred Experience: - 15 + years of experience in Sales with at least 10+ years in South Region - Experience in handling Traditional Trade (Chemist/Grocer and Super Stockiest)/Modern Trade/Pharmacy chains and Self-Service Stores
