The ideal incumbent would be a mature, experienced professional who is forward looking and can plan new initiatives keeping in mind the vision of the organization and the new strategy carved out with consultation with the Board members. Responsibilities & Results: - This role will have the primary responsibility of Sales Management and achieve sales target for the territory/accounts assigned to the person. This person would need to: - Draw sales plan to meet his target - Reach out to prospects directly; through events, lead follow-ups and cold calling - Build initial interest of our Technical Training Programs with the manufacturing companies of the region - Work closely with Presales and Delivery teams in the selling process, proposal stages and Obtain closure of contract with the customer - Smooth handover to the Delivery teams - Maintain excellent relationship post sales and works closely with delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction. - Managing customer relationship across the company - CEO/VP - Manufacturing, Training, HR, and Purchase. - Manage on-going local relationships with Government and institutions like ITI, DET - Should be able to call high in the customer organizations - CEO/CXO level - Creation of Account plans for strategic accounts - Ensure sales calls density in his territory/Accounts to be self-sufficient in lead generation for achieving sales target Personal Characteristics & Qualifications: - Should be a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial/Production - Minimum 7 years of experience in a target driven sales profile with at least 2 to 3 years of experience working in the geography. Experience in product /services sales and particularly to Manufacturing Plant Heads - Good communication and relationship management skills with good command over local language is a must - Excellent account management skills - Experience in managing customer relationship across various hierarchy at the customer organization - Should be experienced in deal closures, objection handling and drawing sales plans to achieve his numbers from his territory/Accounts - Track record of achieving sales targets. - Exposure to international Vocational training programs and training methodologies would be a plus.
