Regional Sales Manager
Hiring for a manufacturing client in Mumbai for there Sales Department.
Designation : Regional Sales manager
Location : Mumbai
Responsibilities :
- To propose Sales and Marketing plans annually and ascertain the budgets.
- To propose strategies and revenue generation modules to achieve the budgets and implementation of the same.
- To explore opportunities and business potential in terms of markets, customers and products.
- To focus on capability/skill set enhancement of sales force
- To enhance the customer reach and extend expert advice and support to the front-line sales and service.
- As a management team member, to address matters pertaining to the company as a whole at a macro level.
- Support logistics function with inputs and customer feedback.
- To monitor, review and achieve the sales figures on Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly basis.
- To keep himself abreast with the concurrent issues in the Sales and Marketing, the Analytical Instruments and Laboratory Products Industry, technology, competitors, competitive
- To ensure that all business deals are performed within the stipulated Group and MTIN norms.
- To work closely with the MT Group (LAB + ANA division) for developing business at MTIN.
- Development of effective dealer network for Govt Business
- To formulate appropriate belt offering + Pricing structure for Govt Business
- Organizing seminar and presentation in different Govt exhibitions and organizing and coordinating with the team
- To develop a strong review mechanism for Govt business at RM/BM/ Sales Team level.
- Will be responsible for Individual and Regional Target.
Qualifications and Technical Skills :
- 8 - 9 Years of experience in Sales and Marketing .
- Experience from allied industries or Analytical Instruments / Capital Equipment /Life Sciences, Consumables (filtration, reagents, etc),Specialty Chemicals
- BSc/MSc preferably or B.E with a post graduate degree in Sales and Marketing Management.
Attributes :
- Should have the ability to motivate and guide a large sales team
- Should have exposure of implementation of Marketing Initiatives.
- Should have exposure of selling and promotion of products
- To keep himself abreast with the concurrent issues in the Sales and Marketing
- Should be well versed with the cultural, social, geographical and historical dynamics of the country and should have extensively traveled
- Should have good network and contacts with key personnel in all Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Bio Pharmaceutical, Universities,
Educational Institutes, Government Institutes, and Research
- Should have the ability to view beyond one's function and role at a macro level.
- Proven track record of handling multiple products related to laboratory applications in diversified markets and various segments
- Strong focus on building channel partners
