Responsibilities :
- Sales Target to deliver on sales objectives for the region through direct intervention of sales team.
- The role requires approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business. Also making repeat sales to the existing customers.
- Devises and implements strategies for strengthening customer commitment and market position to the development of sales budgets
- Report regularly to management on performance and market developments
- Listening to customer requirements in territory and presenting appropriately to make sale
- Develop strong channels of communication with colleagues of all levels
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Gathering market and customer information
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process that is largely dictated by the prospective customer
- Liaising with clients to check the progress of existing orders
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
- Providing Technical assistance to customers with regards to lab tests required for Food analysis. (Added advantage)
