Regional Sales Manager - Africa & Middle East
Our client is an Indian subsidiary of a leading company into power protection products and systems having a global footprint.
- The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales in the assigned region, managing activities of channel partners and for the development & implementation of sales strategy. Multi-tasking and time management are critical pre-requisites for the role. Travel up to 50% may be required. Ideal candidate would be working from our client's office located in Electronic City, Bangalore.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and select Markets and Customers to promote our protection and fault recording products and solutions in the international market including Middle East & Africa.
- Responsible for developing and growing the customer base in market segment to meet budget.
- Conduct a competitive analysis and determine new business opportunities for market segment.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans for market segment.
- Work with channel partners for the development and implementation of sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of company's products and solutions applicable to electric power system protection and automation.
- Have a good appreciation of competitive offerings in the market.
- Help customers and create awareness and interest in the company's products through visits, demonstrations, training courses and telephone contact.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of successful proposals for the company's products, services, and systems.
- Participate in trade shows and promotional events.
- Complete assigned work within agreed schedule and budget to a high level of quality.
- Assume Project Management role on assigned projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- BE-Electrical & Electronics or equivalent work experiences.
- Should have worked either in International/Global Business Development, Application or Customer service, in a front-end role for at least 10 to 15 years.
- Should have some experience of having handled either Transmission, Distribution, Generation utility customers or big industrial customers like oil, refineries, cement, Iron, and steel or renewables.
- Work experience in consulting or engineering companies would be useful.
- Excellent technical training, speaking, and writing skills.
- Very strong computer and business software skills.
- Exceptional organization and "get it done" skills.
- Multi-tasking and Time management are very essential.
