About the Role : A FMCG (START UP) company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) who will lead the Direct Sales team in Bangalore (10 Sales Executives) to ensure city-wide coverage by end of 2019. It is expected that the RSM will then hire an Area Sales Manager (ASM) for Bangalore who will then run the business on a day to day basis, backfilling the RSM. After Bangalore launch, RSM will then plan and execute launch of the product in the NCR region in early 2020. This will include appointing distributors, hiring an Area Sales Manager for NCR region, hiring Sales Executives (on Distributor rolls), and ensuring NCR wide coverage in the next 60-90 days. After the launch of these 2 cities, RSM will undertake launch of the product across India @ 1 city per month, continuously hiring Sales Managers who will then be responsible for each city. Over time, it is expected that the RSM will grow into the role of National Sales Manager (NSM). Reporting :&nbsp;The RSM will report to COO of the Company Candidate : - The ideal candidate will have an MBA in Marketing with 2+ years of experience. Candidate must have experience in leading Sales teams in Tier 1 FMCG company. Local Candidates preferred. Candidate must possess the following qualities : 1) Strong head for numbers. 2) High-energy Self-starter. 3) Willing to travel extensively. 4) Motivated by Sales numbers. 5) Easy to get along with and enjoys company of people. 6) Can motivate team members.
