Job Title : Regional Sales Manager - India

Reports to : Marketing & Sales Director

Base Location : Bangalore

Experience : 5+ years in a FMCG environment, majorly spent in sales roles across the country (Top B-schools)

The RSM would be responsible for :

1. Achieving the value and volume sales targets

2. Build and train the sales team for the business

3. Set up the distributor and sales network for the dog and human food business across major cities in India

4. Set, monitor and ensure achievement of brand wise, area wise distribution targets for outlets under direct coverage

5. Setup processes for efficient sales team working (revenue reporting, distribution tracking, visibility tracking etc.)

6. Distributor management

7. Forecasting and planning :

a. Set targets for all territories for the full year and month wise

b. Prepare rolling forecasts for the next three months for all SKUs

c. Suggest and plan innovative solutions to achieve the desired business growths

8. People management :

a. Plan and initiate timely recruitment of all sales personnel

b. Appraise periodically, the performance of direct reportees against agreed standards of performance, identify areas for improvement and implement training / developmental plans and ensure its implementation.

The professional achievement/ qualification expected :

1. Qualification- MBA (Sales and Marketing) (top B-schools)

2. 5+ years of experience in a FMCG environment

3. Strong knowledge of field sales
