- Set regional sales plan for each product in alignment with overall sales strategy; break it down area wise and share with the various area sales managers

- Prepare budget for the region by collecting and analyzing information from market trends (market survey and potential assessment, raw material cost, market price movements etc.)

- Interact with specific partners/ distributors on a regular basis to establish relationships and resolve their queries regarding product availability, payment, contract terms and conditions, or any other aspect in a timely manner

- Identify potential customers and clients; engage with them on a regular basis (making pitch presentations, regular communication etc.) to convert the lead; Involve the Head Sales for critical leads if required

- Ensure smooth launch of new products by conducting interactions with key customers, distributors, plan and execute activities/initiatives for new product launches. Provide feedback, customer inputs to stakeholders for development of new products and update of existing products

- Track achievement of the sales targets by monitoring sales reports, realization & collections, and modify and correct the area-wise allocation based on feasibility

- Control outstanding by monitor payment collection from customers to ensure minimal receivables, conduct credit limit analysis and quarterly cheques analysis for dealers and take timely action to reduce days outstanding and compliance to credit policy of the organization

- Work in close coordination with the Marketing Team for timely execution of ATL/BTL initiatives identified

- Conduct regular sales review meetings for identification of issues affecting realization and discuss the sales trends and best practices

- Review and monitor expenses incurred by the sales team and ensure compliance with the defined norms for such expenses

- Ensure development and implementation of systems and processes to enhance proximity to the customer and provide continuous services

- Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles

- Candidate should have experience of Modern trade Trade in Mumbai OR West region.
