Role:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of a company across a geographic region. A Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for setting and adjusting sales goals based on deep knowledge of individual distributor selling patterns. The role is responsible for creation & execution and of sales strategies in their region. It involves handling the sales & distribution, P&L and manpower planning of the South region
Responsibility:
- Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
- Improve distribution in the region by careful study and need gap identification
- Handle all budgeting expenses and coordinate with cross functional teams
- Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for all areas in support of business objectives. Maintains and expands customer/ distributor base by counselling ASM's ; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new business opportunities.
- Study competition market and counter plan for better sales initiatives
- Handle man power hiring, training and productivity in the region
- Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Experience:
- Good knowledge in excel, macros, MIS is required
- Need someone with the minimum experience of 15- 20 years and preferably from FMCG industry in cosmetics, personal care and Skin care

- Graduate/ Post Graduate
