Regional Sales Manager

We have an urgent opening with a leading FMCG company.

Note : Candidates should have experience in handling entire Karnataka and TamilNadu.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Handling large sales team of the multiple states

2. Handling Channel Partners (C&F / Distributors) of zone

3. Achieving primary and secondary targets set by the company

4. Recruitment of sales staff with prior approval from seniors

5. Monitoring and reporting daily activities of the sales staff

6. Monitoring competitor activities and reporting to seniors

7. Ensure smooth payment from channel partners

8. Ensure smooth working in assigned territory

9. Control overheads in the zone

10. Conducting monthly meeting of the state heads

11. Scheme formulation as per the state budget

12. Maintain the growth rate as per company standards

Job Requirements :

- Food company working knowledge

- Aggressive approach to achieve targets

- Gap filling approach to ensure maximum coverage

- Experience of rural marketing

- Geographical knowledge of the territory

- Should have handled 200-300 distributors and 2-3 Super Stockists

- Should have lead an on-roll and off-roll team of 100-125 people in the hierarchy

- Should have handled both states

- Should have been responsible for turnover of about Rs.150-200 crores
