Job Description : Regional sales manager for an FMCG player - Location - East

Client Details :

Our client is one of the leading Indian companies in the FMCG sector known for their brand leaders and robust strategies towards sales expansion of their products. They have been present in the international markets with 40 offices and a footprint across 150 countries. They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager - East who can contribute to the development of the channel and further the growth of their global brands.

Description :

The chosen candidate would report to the Sales Director and be responsible for the following :

- Collaborate and work with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region

- Manage a sales team to ensure maximisation of sales revenue and meet set goals

- Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans

- Accomplish the human resources objectives by recruiting, selecting and mentoring individuals towards sales leadership

- Develop the region towards full potential, working on short-term and long-term initiatives for the same

- Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending

- Supervise and develop the presentation of strategies, seminars and monthly meetings

- Review regional expenses and recommend improvements vis-a-vis the sales figures

Profile :

The successful applicant should be a graduate from a premier B-school (2005/2006/2007 batches), having at least 12 years of extensive experience in sales in the FMCG space and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels in India. He/she should have an analytic approach towards understanding and solving problems and have a proven experience in driving and leveraging people skills and motivations.
