Job description:

- Head Regional Sales (Non-Trade Sales, Institutional Sales and Project Sales)

- Creating and maintaining sales goals as well as forecasting future sales trends

- Coordinating with other departments within a company, such as marketing or finance, to ensure that all relevant parties have been informed of the project's status

- Developing and managing budgets for each project while accounting for all costs

- Working with clients to define their needs and goals in order to create effective solutions to meet their requirements

- Developing proposals that detail products or services that meet client needs, outlining pricing information and terms of sale

- Resolving customer service issues by communicating with clients to explain product features and benefits and answering any questions about products or services

- Conducting market research to identify potential clients and determine their needs

- Coordinating with outside vendors to obtain products or services from them such as printing materials, arranging travel, etc.

- Reporting on project status to upper management and keeping them informed about any delays or issues with the project

Competencies Required:

- Must be highly entrepreneurial, a self-starter and possess strong leadership skills

- Well versed with the Cement sales business

- Familiarity with the Cement project / institutional sales would be an added advantage

- Should you have managed a national sales or regional sales for a large cement company

- Experience with out of the box Strategic Thinking

- Demonstrated Commercial business acumen particularly direct experience in building material industry

- Strong Focus on Developing New Business

- Working in a Matrixed Environment with multiple stakeholders to include National sales, Segment, Central Team, Industrial BU would be preferred

- Ideal Candidate will have proven experience understanding of competitive landscape, industry stakeholders' influencers, solution value proposition, develop go to market plans, partner and marketing readiness, and execution of channel go to market strategies

Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree (BE Civil) required, MBA would be an added advantage

- Experience: 6 -12 years in a Project Sales / Business Development Role in a large Cement Company
