Position: Regional Sales Head

Location: Middle East/India

Level - AVP/VP/Sr VP

Reporting to: Global Sales Head

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Business Development

- Spearhead the regional business development activities in the organization

- Develop and execute business development strategy and plan, both short and long range, to ensure achievement of company sales targets, growth in profits and expansion of company services in specific region

- Research, analyse and monitor financial, technological and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and effects of competition may be minimized.

- Work as Spokesperson and demonstrate high level of integrity, knowledge of the organization to the world.

- Conceptualize, plan and execute the organization's global brand building, advertising and promotional activities.

- Identify potential market segments/verticals

- Identify & generate business from new accounts, enhance business from existing accounts

- Achieve revenue and contribution targets, build credibility in the market & gain market share

- Ensure comprehensive and accurate cost estimation of projects is carried out before proposals are submitted to the clients

Team Development

- Align appropriate responsibilities, accountability and authority for team members

- Help team members in laying down their performance plans.

- Manage and enhance performance of team members

- Hold regular planning and review meetings with team members.

- Act as Role Model for the entire team and ensure the training needs and training hours achieved as per organization’s training vision.

- Identify development needs of team members.

- Set direction and inspire team members and groom team members to take on additional responsibilities.

Competencies

- Strong strategic thinking with excellent analytical, interpersonal, operational and leadership skills.

- Should have the capability of spearheading the business development activities and leading a large sized team in assigned region or geography

- Should be a sales professional with relevant experience in customised software solutions

- Should have a thorough understanding / appreciation of software service business.

- Should have experience in software contract negotiations and a good track record of selling solutions.
