Regional Sales Head (Hindi Channel)

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for the Hindi TV Channel in the Mumbai (West) and Gurgaon (North) regions.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure the attainment of sales objectives.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, clients, and key stakeholders, leveraging these connections to secure partnerships and drive ad sales.

- Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and business opportunities, adapting sales strategies accordingly to maximize revenue potential.

- Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to tailor sales pitches and offerings that align with client needs and objectives.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and enhance sales effectiveness.

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and results to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

- Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices in sales management to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- Proven track record of 15 years in sales management within the media industry, with a focus on Hindi TV channel sales.

- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Thorough understanding of the media landscape, advertising industry, and market trends, particularly within the Hindi TV segment.

- Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach to sales, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for lead management, pipeline tracking, and customer relationship management.

- Willingness to travel within the Mumbai (West) and Gurgaon (North) regions as needed.
