FMCG experience is a MUST.
- Participate in the formation of annual strategy for various categories in the region, in conjunction with Head Sales and Category Heads
- Plan for optimal coverage by channel and by geography, in conjunction with Head Sales
- Identify and provide inputs to Category Heads on potential growth areas
- Ensure alignment of strategic focus between HO and region
- Identify ways to increase volumes and market share across categories
- Establish a robust process for forecasting sales volume (both top down and bottom up) across categories
- Ensure adherence to sales plan and SKU-wise availability as per norms
- Plan and monitor availability /operations at C&F through Sales Managers
- Identify and resolve logistics/ credit management issues to ensure smooth supply chain operations
- Closely monitor sales trends, WD inventory and take corrective actions
- Ensure budgetary allocation and establish a monitoring mechanism to meet top line targets
- Ensure SOPs and service level agreements are in place for smooth inter-departmental functioning
- Drive efficiencies across departments and ensure productivity ratios improve year on year
