Opening with a leading FMCG Company for the position of a Regional Sales Development Manager

Location - Mumbai

CTC - upto 15 lacs

Required - Candidates from FMCG/Retail/Engineering/Consumer Durable/Manufacturing only

Job Description

S&D Strategy

- Identify and implement S&D initiatives to drive growth of business as well as plug any leakages in the system, where required (in discussion with RGD and Head - Sales Development)

- Work with the RGD and guide the BHs to develop robust new product launch plan

- Execute the sales strategy as per specified guidelines to ensure implementation effectiveness

- Ensure the right communication & utilization of the trade spends strategy

Project Implementation

- Drive the implementation of the S&D transformation for the region in a standardized manner; customizations, if any to be approved

- Oversee and guide pilots in the Region as per the overall implementation roadmap

- Oversee adherence to agreed timelines of project in region

Articulate preparation work and requirement for the transformation within the region in full alignment with RGD, BH and RGM

- Implement the change management program in alignment with the RGD; create local change management plans, if required

- Ongoing Capability development for the Region

Enhance S&D infrastructure quality and development (e.g. manpower quality) through appropriate guidelines in the region

- Develop and oversee execution of the right training for all personnel in the region

- Drive distributor consolidation and distributor management processes in the region providing adequate support to BH

- Monitor & control distributor ROI, subsidy and incentives budget

- Drive S&D KPIs ( e.g. productivity, TLSD)

- Support account cracking performance management (e.g. for E&D channel)

- Periodic reporting to HO and RGD

- Ensure consistency in Performance Tracking & Review standards in the region

- Coaching & Development

- Coach BHs and RGMs on S&D activities and building sales force capability

- Conduct team appraisals jointly with the RGD

- Mentor direct reports in effective S&D implementation capabilities

Must Haves

- Good communication, teaming and relationship management skills

- Passion to drive change and ensure success

- 12 – 15 yrs years of FMCG sales experience

- Sound understanding of channel partner management processes

Good To Have

- Experience of working in S&D infrastructure development role

- Masters/ Bachelors in sales & marketing
