Regional Sales Controller - Building Material Firm - Paints & Specialty Chemicals - CA

We are at present having a senior position as Regional Sales Controller (MM3 Level) for a reputed Building Material organization (Into Paints & Specialty Chemicals) based in Navi Mumbai location.

Qualified Chartered Accountant is mandatory

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Be the Finance Business Partner Sales team for better analysis, control and delivery of targets /Budgets/performance analysis

2. Partner in IBP process as applicable for Projects and Distribution teams & also with ISC and Logistic for their interface with distribution and projects- logistics, depot closure business case evaluation etc.

3. Partner with Regional organization for distributor appointment, Projects approvals, analysis, MIS, control and delivery of financial instruments like LC/BG for this arm of the business working closely with projects team

4. Distributor and Project governance - distributor governance tracker, COA projects review & Governance. Approver for audit findings of the COA for projects as part of the approver matrix.

5. Zone wise, Region wise P&L for both distributors and Projects till OPI level & Set up review mechanism for the same

6. Participate in distributor reviews at region to drive optimal growth

7. Quarterly/Monthly Business Review of Distributor and Projects performance, P&L,AR, OWC and Cash flow

8. Audit and deployment of tools and techniques i.e. deal calculators for decision making of projects

9. Review of investment templates of distributors and analysis thereon before distributor onboarding . advising break even point to RM . Also checking the onboarding distributor's Net worth from financials. The incumbent will be approver for distributor onboarding Matrix.

10. Work on DTS model and ensure all controls are followed in the process

11. Monitor Project Unexecuted Order Backlog - movement in margins from win to execution stage & project cash flow.

12. Help Projects team bid for Govt and institutional tenders for financial estimation based on profitability Margins of our SKU's.( Deal calculator is only for projects at builders, malls, societies ) . Support approval process with BC.

13. Lead Mix improvement and profitability improvement in Projects by analyzing costs, discounts, and working on Network optimization.

14. Evaluate Brand profitability across projects - region wise/zone wise, warranty costs control and monitoring etc and work out control mechanism to ensure distributor payout is as per the ROI template agreed Year on Year.

15. DERP complete management of queries for business (Non IT related) which are from finance perspective like Validation of pricing, tax, masters etc.

16. IFC controls and management of same in the region with various Audits driven in the region

17. Liase with Govt offices for various subsidies and claims

18. Work closely with Credit control team and drive effective governance of policy with the sales team supporting larger company policies

Responsibilities - 

The Job holder will assist the Paints controller, Regional Manager - for ensuring growth with controls in region west effectively partnering the sales function for the commercial aspects

Job Requirements

Qualified CA with 6-10 years of relevant experience managing finance function in Sales commercial, preferably for a large MNC and more closer to chemicals or paints business with flair or operations and front end dealing. Must have solid analytical and communication skills.
