Job description :
- The Regional Trade Marketing position actively collaborates with corporate and the branch to identify and deploy inputs to satisfy the Brand and Sales Objectives for that region.
- The person is also required to analyze the external environment through ACN Market reports and field visits to identify opportunities and actionable inputs to maximize market share.
- The RTMM in collaboration with Corporate TM also plays a pivotal role in creating the monthly and rolling sales forecast with high degree of accuracy after evaluating sales history, seasonality, ATL & BTL inputs, etc.
- The RTMM also liaises closely with the Branch Accounts team to keep a track of budget spends and monthly provisioning of costs
Input Planning :
- Plan Trade-loads, QPS, salesmen incentives and Field Force incentives/contests in agreement with branch.
- Decide on BTL inputs with objective of achieving target numbers and within pre-decided % cost to sales
New Brand Launch :
- In conjunction with branch & Corp TM, decide on launch quantities of new brands/SKUs/flavors for branch and area-wise
- Plan and implement localized activities for brand launch
- Provide monthly and rolling sales plan forecast within acceptable limits of variance.
- To look closely at stock aging and limit FG write-offs
Geographical Focus :
Rural Focus :
a) Planning on incentives/contests/schemes for Super Stockist and Sub Stockist
b) Planning and implementing rural activation/seeding programs
c) Planning and executing of POS materials for enhancing visibility
T 50 towns :
a) Planning and implementing localized activities, incentives with aim of achieving brand, market share & GOTM objectives
b) Planning regular wholesale activation / schemes and programs
- Coordinating with Marketing team on area-specific brand input
- Provide monthly insights to the sales team from the ACN Market report and undertake feasible programs to improve our relative position
Information sharing and analytics :
- Analyze trends on SDE spends and ensure effective utilization
- Providing regular updates on BTL inputs utilization to ASMs
- Analyzing on BTL inputs w.r.t achievement vs pre-decided Benchmarks and deciding on effectiveness/results of inputs
- Tying up with vendors for efficient procurement of gifts
Visibility :
- Support corporate visibility programs across channel and geographies thru regular follow ups and incentives (if required)
Candidate Profile :
- All applicants should have at least 1 year experience at a Manager level and an overall 4 - 6 years experience in FMCG sales
- Marketing resource from 2007/2008/2009/2010 batch
- Who have trade marketing experience in a main stream FMCG organization and are from a cluster B institute (likes of XIMB/TAPMI/MICA/SIIB/IMT/IMI/IITs/NMIMS/SIBM/MDI)
- Effective communication and inter personal skills
- Effective decision making skills
- Good with numbers; Analytical approach
- Good computer skills
