Regional Manager- Sales and Marketing

MUST BE with CHEMICAL BACKGROUND and has experience in chemical/Commodity chemical sales.

Role & responsibilities:

- Setting sales and marketing targets and plans in alignment with business objectives for the assigned region.

- Meeting regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual budgets; analysing price variances; initiating corrective actions.

- Responsible for proper coverage of business territory by identification of new customers to ensure budgeted growth and create new business opportunities within the region.

- Analysing regional market trends, discovering new opportunities for growth, understanding competitors strategy/activities, and developing regional sales and marketing plans to ensure long and short-term goals are achieved.

- Create and maintain relationships with various customers and development of dealer & Distributor networks to facilitate small-quantity sales.

- Understand customers' needs/requirements, test potential ideas and solutions, and collaborate with the Technical Service team to better serve the customers.

- Effectively manage a team of sales and marketing professionals and are accountable to achieve assigned team targets for the region. Responsible for Team building, Development, and Team reviews.

- Addressing customer complaints & ensuring prompt resolution of the same.

- Maintaining and increasing sales trends with timely collection of payments. Report on regional Sales and Marketing Trends.

- Timely and accurate completion of all reporting requirements including visit plans, customer call reports, monthly reports, monthly forecasts, mid-term planning forecasts, and variance.

- Collect and document customer knowledge/visit discussion and gather customer needs and feedback incl. visit and call reports in the Salesforce tool

Preferred candidate profile:

- MBA (Marketing) with B.Sc. (chemistry)/CIPET/ B. Tech (Chemical/Plastics/Polymers).

- Proven experience as Regional Sales Manager or similar Roles; Techno-commercial skills, having 15+ years relevant experience in the Petro- Chemical industry, Chemicals Industry, PVC Industry (Resins, Additives).

- Should have experience in Handling a Sales revenue of 30-35 crores PM and a volume of 2500-3000 MT PM

- Managed a Team of 3-4 Sales and Marketing professionals.
