A technology-enabled logistics company started in 2014. In a short span of time, this company reached positive Ebita and received funding of 75 million dollars from Warburg Pincus for their expansion. They own a fleet of over 3000 trucks. They are contributing to building a new India by defining the next-generation trucking industry with accurate predictions, high levels of efficiency, simple automated operations, and by making logistics human.
Key accountabilities & responsibilities:
- This is a leadership opportunity with end to end responsibility of PnL of the region.
- Responsible for business development (institutional and retail) in the region - new business development and well as growing business from existing clients. Building and nurturing client relationships
- Lead the execution of expansion projects in the region
- Efficiently manage operations, ensuring cost control and optimization, utilization metrics.
- Operational excellence improvement and achievement of Operational KPIs
- Build, train, manage team's performance
- Increase tech penetration and partner in tech development / integration for customers
Personal Attributes:
- Profiles with experience in handling PnL / sales/ operations profiles
- Hands on experience of implementing systems and processes
- Experience in improving business and operational KPIs
- Ability to build, manage, train and coach a large ops team
- Excellent people management and leadership skills
- Hustler with go-getter attitude
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should have:
- 8 to 14 years of experience
- FMCG/ Telecom Experience is desired.
- Channel Sales, e.g. Modern trade etc would be desirable.
- Ideal Candidates would be from Coke or Pepsi, and similar companies.
