Regional Manager - Retail Sales(Candidates only with dairy and ice cream industry apply)
Job Responsibility:-
- Drive Sales, Profitability and Gross Margin Growth - Responsible to drive area sales and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies, consistently across all markets.
- Responsible in achieving monthly / quarterly / annual primary & secondary targets for the area of operations in terms of Channels and distributors
- To achieve sales targets through the sales team and to build excellent client relationships for positioning of all products in the market.
- Appoint network of retailers/ dealers/ distributors/ Sales Stockiest to enhance market penetration and business.
- Increase company product market share in the region.
- Build team and motivate them for high performance
- Help Distributors to manage business profitably & monitor the progress
- Ensure adherence to sales processes including Sales reporting, Target achievement reports for incentive payouts, timely submission of expense accounts, settlement of schemes, etc.
- Ensure market hygiene.
- Implement all activations (Trade / Consumer) & merchandising (Visibility) programs & Facilitate timely and quality feedback for all activities as per guidelines.
- Operate within budgets and optimize spends.
- Ensure collections for own geography as per company policy.
- Supply Chain & Demand Planning: Monitoring & reporting:-
Monthly & weekly forecast of stock demands
Demand - supply gap
Seasonal movements of stocks, flavor wise movement of stocks, special SKUs
Damaged stocks, ageing stocks, etc
- MIS related work: -
Reporting on target achievements, key account activities, promotional marketing activities, and competition to the management.
Handling, reporting information/ data collected; coordinating with the Corporate MIS team.
Desired Candidate Profile:-
- An MBA with about 6-11 years experience in Channel Sales and distribution management in a Reputed FMCG/ Beverages/ Foods/ Confectionery Company.
- Must be aggressive, self starter, internally motivated, target oriented and should have a flair towards sales & must have
Good leadership skills.
- He should have worked at the level of ASM/SM/DM for minimum 3 years in the same territory.
- Excellent leadership skills and must have lead Team of Sales Officers & Sales Representatives.
