Regional Manager - Logistics & Distribution - Consumer Durable Manufacturing

Company: One of the largest Consumer Durable Products Manufacturing Company

JD : 2 positions;

Regional Logistics MANAGER (Logistics and Distribution);

- TamilNadu & Kerala based out of Chennai

- Northern Region based out of Delhi.

Purpose of the Job:

- The purpose of this position is to maintain high customer service levels across the various channels of the business (Direct, Consumer, Industrial Service, eCommerce )

- The position will ensure that the Warehouse's are managed in an efficient manner

- This position will manage the overall Freight Costs are at optimal levels

- Manage the Consolidation Centre ( Central Warehouse)

Key Responsibilities :

- Deliver the Total Supply Chain Cost Agenda of Secondary Freight and C&FA costs at Regional India Level

- Manage the Distribution Centers Infrastructure need (space, A/C), Supply Chain Processes (FIFO, Batch tracking) to ensure write-offs Reduction and Stock Freshness

- Ensure Effective Order Management and Reverse logistics processes

- Develop and Implement IT solutions to enable Supply Chain to increase flexibility and reduce costs.

Key Performance Indicators :

- Success in this role will be measured through the delivery of objectives which are aligned to key business priorities

- Customer service : Order Execution and Delivery from Warehouses

- Spares /Consumables Availability Pending orders - 1 day to be 0

- Secondary Frt. Costs % of NSV & Rate per Unit

- C&FA Costs As per agreed Targets

- Warehouse Management - nventory Accuracy

- Slow Moving Stock Reduction

- Reduction in Warehousing and --Logistics Costs.

- Warehouse Productivity

Span of Control :

- Officers, Warehousing and Transportation Service Providers

Key Relationships (Internal & External) :

- National Logistics Manager

- Sales Managers for verticals

- Factory Supply Chain Managers

- Regional Heads

- Transport Vendors(Secondary Freight)

- C&FA

- Commercial Finance

Competencies :

- Numerate and System Literate (Knowledge of SAP is a Preference)
