We are having an opportunity with one of our leading client for the role of Regional Manager .

Below are the details for the role:

TITLE : Regional Manager

COMPANY- Well known commercial bank in Tanzania

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: On Contract

Place of Posting – Tanzania – South Region

JOB OBJECTIVE

- Responsible for overseeing the success of multiple bank branches, within the specified region being responsible for CASA, alternate channels & fee based income.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Responsible for the administration and efficient daily operations of the regions branches branch encompassing the full range of services , including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives.

- Oversee operations of all branches in the region and guide the respective Branch Managers

- Develop new deposits and loan businesses;

- In charge of developing new strategies and improving existing procedures. Manage branch/es issues relating to internal control systems and processes.

- Responsible for Cash management / resource mobilization within the region.

- Provide a superior level of customer relations and promote the service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation;

- Achieve individual, branch and regions sales goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships.

- Responsible for attaining established Bank and branch goals

- Provide leadership, training and supervision; delegate day to day operations to the Branch Managers/ Operations or other branch personnel.

- May perform duties in the absence of the BM or other such management capacities as directed by the Management.

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Banking Qualifications or equivalent

- A good conceptual knowledge on Retail models & hands on multiple branch / region management experience

- Good understanding of dealing with Retail & SME Credit;

- Knack of innovative thinking and a crave to be the market leader in its own space;

- Ability to think strategically and assist in the organization & management of multi-cultural team.

- Excellent Public Relations, Sales, Communication, organizing and leadership skills.

15+years of relevant experience
