Regional Logistics Manager with one of the well known tyre manufacturing multinational company. This role will initially based in Gurgaon for few months later employee will transfer to Pune. - Responsible for actively participate in Supply Chain projects/analytics and in development of partnerships with 3PL.With logistics will lead couple of projects. - Drive operations and performance in Logistics towards the achievement of organization's objectives and customer satisfaction. Leads and provides direction to indirect staff. ACCOUNTABILITIES : - Supply chain operations, process development - Planning & execution - Customer & client interaction / business partnership - Systems / data management & reporting - Budget management JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : 50% - Logistics Operations and Performance - Responsible for total customer service and cost ownership for the region - Manage logistics and warehouse operations, inventory and customer service - Direct and coordinate full order cycle / order fulfilment as per the customer service norms - Evaluate operational performance against SLAs and develop corrective action plans - Ensure that operations are conducted properly, according to processes, standards (including safety and security), and customer requirements 30% - Continuous Improvement - Liaise with upstream and downstream supply chain service providers to optimize service and cost - Drive operational excellence through initiatives for the region - Conceptualize and lead new SC development projects by leveraging digital in line with business strategy 20% - Business Partnerships - Develop partner relationship with 3PL providers and work to ensure logistics is future ready - Steers progress plan to improve supplier performance where necessary - Provide supply chain strategic connection within the commercial team, cross-business operations, and Strategic Sourcing KEY COMPETENCIES: - Experience in warehousing and transportation role - Retail/FMCG/Pharma/3PL experience preferred - Communication - Speaks clearly, fluently and effectively - Orientation towards Customer service, collaboration and influencing skills - Analytical mindset - Methodical and Structured approach with logical reasoning - Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
