Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives for the warehousing division in the Mumbai region.
- Employee Relations: Build and maintain positive employee relations by addressing employee grievances, providing counseling, and promoting a healthy work environment.
- Off-Role Employee Management: Oversee all HR processes for off-role employees, including onboarding, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Industrial Relations and Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, industrial regulations, and statutory requirements for the warehousing division. Handle labor disputes and disciplinary actions effectively, working within the legal framework.
- Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to identify the right talent for off-role positions, ensuring workforce planning aligns with business needs.
- Performance Management: Implement and oversee the performance management process for off-role employees, conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to line managers.
- Learning and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of off-role employees.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HR data and metrics to assess trends, identify potential issues, and make data-driven decisions to improve HR processes and employee engagement.
- HR Policies and Processes: Establish and implement HR policies, guidelines, and procedures in line with the organization's values and legal requirements.
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience 5-10 years as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR leadership role, with a focus on warehousing/supply chain/logistics organizations.
- Deep understanding of industrial relations, labor laws, and compliance requirements specific to the Mumbai region.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels and build positive relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive approach to HR challenges.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage time effectively.
- A collaborative and hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- HR certifications or memberships in relevant HR organizations are a plus.
