Job Description - Indirect Procurement Head to be based out of the Shared Services handling Equipment, Technical Services, IT and Corp Services procurement for 11 countries and will drive the change to category sourcing model of procurement.

Our client is a leading US based MNC which is one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world. It is the largest producers of polymer compounds. They are looking for a Regional Indirect Procurement Head to be based out of the Shared Services supporting 11 countries across APAC and will manage Technical Equipment, Technical Services, IT and Corp Services Procurement.

Description :

Reporting functionally into the Global Head and administratively into the Shared Services Head in India and managing a team of 30+, you shall be responsible for :

- Driving a change from original sourcing model to category sourcing model for the APAC region.
- Developing, managing and executing local and regional sourcing plans for technology and corporate services and Procuring Technical materials and services of APAC for best cost to support for multiple locations in other countries

- Collaborating with corporate services and IT procurement teams to develop sourcing strategies and technologies, sustainable and pitching into the sustained NextGen Advancing Competitiveness (ACP) value generation.

- Relationship building and management with local suppliers to support strategies and looking for compliance to corporate policies in global travel, global fleet and pool car

- Developing, managing and executing local and regional sourcing plans for technology and corporate services.

- Digital enhancement to develop Efficiency and effectiveness in E2E S2P process for indirect procurement

- Communicating regularly with all the stakeholders, contractor partners, and other teams and Participating in external events to build competitive knowledge and benchmark performance

Profile :

Ideally you are graduate/post graduate with atleast 20 years of experience in the Supply Chain function with atleast 8 years of experience in indirect procurement managing international stakeholders in a manufacturing setup. You should have managed a team of atleast 10 people. You should have experienced the change from original sourcing model to category sourcing model. DO NOT APPLY if you are from only IT/Services industry. You should have excellent negotiation skills, influencing skills, strong analytical, organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills. . You should have excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment
